The calm before the storm this offseason continued on Sunday for the Atlanta Braves as they remained quiet on the transactions front for a change. The team has a lot to weigh this coming week as they look to see what cuts and additions to their now full 40 man roster they will be making in advance of the Rule 5 draft protection deadline on 11/15. We expect to see several transactions to clean up the 40 man roster this week and at least a couple of prospects protected from the Rule 5 Draft.
In preparation of the upcoming free agent storm, we continued to preview the offseason with highlighting five players who are “buy-low” candidates that the Braves should take a look at adding this offseason.

Again, it was a quiet day yesterday in Braves country, but we continued our season review series with Collin McHugh. McHugh gets overshadowed by the Kenley Jansens, Raisel Iglesisases, and and AJ Minters of the world, but he was an integral part of the Atlanta Braves’ success in 2022.
Also, the All-MLB team voting is currently open where the Braves have a number of candidates available to receive your ballot. Make sure you go vote before the vote closes on 11/22!
MLB News
It wasn’t just quiet in the world of the Atlanta Braves as we didn’t have much to get excited about across MLB on Sunday. One thing to note is that the Arizona Fall League came to an end with the Surprise Saguaros emerging triumphant in the championship game. While the Braves didn’t have any prospects in the championship game, they did send several prospects to the AFL this year with Justyn-Henry Malloy, Austin Smith, and Cal Conley in particular doing well.
The rumor mill is just now heating up and the market for Japanese pitcher Kodai Senga is starting to form. The Giants are emerging as a potential suitor for the right-hander along with at least eight other teams, although the Giants have some built in advantages including being on the West Coast, having plenty of room in their payroll, and being motivated to reload given that they are potentially losing some key free agents including Carlos Rodon.
