News came out late last night that Ronald Acuña Jr. spoke on social media about his relationship with Freddie Freeman.

Late news for Atlanta Braves fans last night as Ronald Acuña Jr. discussed his relationship with former first baseman Freddie Freeman.

Allegedly, Acuña said he will not miss Freeman and they had lots of clashes during their time together. Other things that were reportedly said:

  • Freddie and Ronnie constantly had friction.
  • Freeman did not care that Ronald was plunked by a pitch.
  • Freeman was overbearing.
  • Ronald never felt like Freeman was someone he could talk to.

After the news broke last night, Ronnie responded on Twitter about the incident himself.

Ronnie says he did not say what is being reported. However, a translator claims that at least some of it was said in the Instagram live video.

This comes out just a few weeks after the divorce of Freeman and the Atlanta Braves. Freeman’s press conference in LA already raised a lot of eyebrows and now this news with Acuña.

Will we ever know the full story of the two’s relationship? Probably not. Time will tell. However, it looks like the social media comments from last night will be addressed sometime today.

It is unfortunate that the divorce of Freeman and the Braves has come with as much negative news.

Freeman was the Braves star since 2010, hitting .295/.384/.509 271 HR, 969 R, 941 RBI, & 53 SB with a .379 wOBA and 138 wRC+. He was worth 42.2 fWAR in his time with the Braves.

Next. It's time to go!. dark

Now, the Braves newest star, Ronald Acuña Jr. looks to take over as the face of the Braves franchise. It has not been the cleanest of transitions though.
