3. The Catch
Eddie Rosario and Adam Duvall helped the Braves jump out to an early 2-0 lead with back-to-back home runs in the top of the second.
Drew Smyly came on in relief and this point we didn’t know what we were going to get from Smyly — it ended up being very good.
Duvall helped calm Smyly’s nerves — and all of Atlanta — with a great catch that possibly robbed Gavin Lux of a home run and killed a possible rally starter for the Dodgers.
4. Eddie Delivers the Big Blast
Who else but the NLCS MVP comes up with the biggest hit of the series to put the Braves ahead in Game 6.
That 3-run homer would end up being the runs they would need to win the game and punch their ticket to the World Series. And it was also just an incredible at-bat fouling off some tough pitches from Walker Buehler.
For the NLCS, Eddie Rosario was 14/25 (.560) with 6 runs scored, 1 double, 1 triple, 3 home runs, 9 RBI, 3 walks, and a stolen base.
