The NLCS shifts back to Atlanta where the Atlanta Braves hope to close out the Los Angeles Dodgers and advance to the World Series.

Kill the narrative. That wise statement from Freddie Freeman is exactly what the Atlanta Braves will be trying to do in Game 6.

All they’ve heard is how they blew a 3-1 lead to the Dodgers last year and can it really happen again. If they want those questions to go away for good, they have to take care of business at home.

What Time is the Game Today?

With the Houston Astros wrapping up the ALCS on Friday night, the game time for Game 6 of the NLCS was moved from 5:08 to 8:08 PM ET.

What Channel is the Braves Game on Today?

Game 6 of the NLCS will be televised nationally on TBS. The team responsible for the telecast includes Brian Anderson, Jeff Francouer, Ron Darling (ugh), and Lauren Shehadi.

Braves vs. Dodgers Odds Today

WynnBET currently has the Dodgers as the favorites at -1.5/+130 as they pretty much have all series. But I’m not sure if that’s updated after the Scherzer news as they still have the same time as 5:08 PM ET. We’ll update you here if that changes.

Braves Starting Pitcher Today: Ian Anderson

It was not a great first outing for Ian Anderson in this series for Ian as he lasted just 3 innings and gave up 2 earned runs on 3 hits and 3 walks with 2 strikeouts in just 55 pitches.

He should be well rested.

And is as the key with Ian, he has to limit the walks. In his four career starts against the Dodgers (three of them in the postseason) he’s walked 13 batters, but given up just 10 hits.

If he can limit the free passes and get them swinging early in the count at that change-up he’ll be just fine.

The Braves really need him to go 5 innings and allow 2 earned or less to feel good about having a chance to win this game.

Braves vs. Dodgers Prediction

The Dodgers moving up Walker Buehler for Game 6 is interesting. He’ll be on just 3 days’ rest, but he also didn’t last very long throwing 76 pitches over 3.2 innings, allowing 4 runs (2 earned) on 6 hits and 3 walks with 3 strikeouts.

I don’t know how long he’ll last in this game for the Dodgers, but hopefully the Braves hitters are patient against him early.

But I’m also not that confident in Anderson lasting much longer than 3 innings, which means both starters could essentially end up being openers.

To me, it comes down to the offense. The Braves are averaging 4 runs a game at home in this postseason. They’ll need to do a little better than that to win on Saturday.
