Freddie Freeman is back.
Maybe it was the elbow getting a jolt of something in it after getting hit by a throw?
Maybe it was his son Charlie selecting his walk up music?
Or most likely, it’s just that he is one of the best players in the game, and it was going to come around for him again.
Whatever, the case may be, Freddie Freeman is back. That is if you were to believe, he ever went anywhere at all.
The long balls are starting to fly out, and the opposite field doubles and singles are the norm once again. That’s the tell-tell sign that he is back on top of his game.
Sure though, he got struck out by Rizzo late in the blowout on Wednesday (That was great though, wasn’t it) but we all have our moments.
The one thing I do hope to avoid is the entire lineup just being streaky this year because since the no-hitter on Wednesday, the entire group has been on fire. That includes Riley who is starting to hit the ball often and hard, Ozuna, who’s home run from Wednesday still has not landed, and Albies, who went on a tear as well Wednesday.
With Brian Snitker moving Freddie back into the 2 hole, he has every opportunity to drive in Acuna (Who is the best base runner in the game) a lot. 30+ dingers and 100+ RBI is there for the taking once again.
This is the M-V-Free show once again though.
