Another week into the season and once again the Atlanta Braves had a roller coaster week.

Let’s get straight to the rankings and see how everyone including the Atlanta Braves stacks up now that we are about 10% of the way through the season.

1. Los Angeles Dodgers– The Dodgers remain at the top after taking two out of three in a very entertaining series with the Padres. The Dodgers +38 run differential is first in baseball and its not very close at all.

2. New York Mets– The Mets seem to jump out to a great start every year, but something feels a little different about it this year. They have more talent than they have had in years. Let’s see if it sticks.

3. Boston Red Sox– The Red Sox were on fire before they ran into the other Sox team over the weekend. The two teams will play an early game on Monday in an annual Boston tradition.

4. Seattle Mariners– The Mariners are the early season surprise thus far, and a lot of that can be contributed to the early outstanding play of Mitch Haniger who seems to be back to where he was before injuries took over.

5. San Diego Padres– The Padres were just a couple bounces away from winning the series against the Dodgers, but so is life. They still had a good weekend as Fernando Tatis is already back with the club.

6. Oakland Athletics– The hottest team in baseball is certainly the Oakland Athletics. They have won 8 in a row. Granted, they did come against the Tigers and Diamondbacks but still impressive.

7. Los Angeles Angels– So far in 2021, Jared Walsh is showing that the Angels have a good first baseman to fulfill the role after Pujols retires after the season. The Angels are quietly staying the AL West race so far.

8. Kansas City Royals– The Royals winning ways can be attributed to the starting pitching the team is getting so far. They are limiting runs and getting just enough offense to win ballgames so far.

9. San Francisco Giants– If the Giants are going to keep finding ways to win, they are without a doubt going to need the teams .205 batting average to get better, and fast. They start a series against the Phillies on Monday.

10. Tampa Bay Rays– I do not know what it is about the Rays that the Yankees can’t figure out, but they can’t as the Rays swept them over a three game series once again over the weekend.
