21. Kansas City Royals- Whit Merrifield is one of the best players in the game and would be a bigger household name if he played outside of Kansas City.

22. Arizona Diamondbacks- Luke Weaver was magnificent on Sunday as he took a no-no into the seventh inning. Perhaps he is finally fulfilling the potential so many thought he had when he was with the St. Louis organization.

23. Baltimore Orioles- A week after sweeping the Red Sox in Fenway, the Orioles got returned the favor as the Red Sox came to Baltimore and swept the birds.

24. Oakland Athletics- The Athletics were the last team to win a game this season but since have won three out of four. Maybe a little run to get them back in the division race is upon us. If so the pitching has to be better.

25. Texas Rangers- The Rangers were completely mismatched in a sweep at the hands of the Padres. They scored 4 runs over the series and those all came in game two. They have only scored 6 runs over their last 4 games.

26. Miami Marlins- Obviously the Marlins and Atlanta Braves start a series on Monday. Let’s hope that the Atlanta Braves can continue the lack of success that the Marlins have had to start the 2021 season.

27. Washington Nationals- Been a rough start for the Nationals as they have only won one game. That was the opening day game against the Atlanta Braves where to be frank, the Braves blew that game too.

28. Pittsburgh Pirates- Unfortunately I believe it’s going to be a long season in the Burgh for baseball fans. I think it will be a stretch to say this team will win 60 ballgames over the course of the season.

29. Colorado Rockies- The bad news is the team is struggling, but the good news is Ryan McMahon might be the next middle infielder the Rockies see flourish in the system. He is mashing the ball right now.

30. Detroit Tigers- The lowly Tigers have gone 1-6 over the team’s last 7 contests. it looks to be another long season ahead for the Tigers.
