21. Cincinnati Reds

For what was most likely financial reasons, the Reds seem to be back more to there 2019 self than the 2020 team that the Atlanta Braves eliminated in the playoffs. As we all know though, this team has tons of power, but keep them in the park and they will struggle.

22. Kansas City Royals

At the time of writing this, guess who would have won the Cactus league? The Kansas City Royals. Now the question is whether they can make all the Kansas area fans quickly forget the Super bowl debacle the Chiefs put down.

23. San Francisco Giants

I expect the Giants to be a pesky little team in the upcoming 2021 season. I also would not be shocked to see Mike Yastzremski become even more of a household name throughout the 2021 season.

24. Seattle Mariners

The Mariners look to take the next step back to the higher levels and it all starts with reigning rookie of the year Kyle Lewis. The bad news is he looks doubtful for opening day but it should not be long after for his debut.

25. Arizona Diamondbacks

The Dbacks have good quality young pitching but right now all the attention needs to be on Zac Gallen and how bad his injury could possibly be. He has quietly become one of the games premier pitchers and a long injury would plain suck.

26. Colorado Rockies

The dumb move of the Winter in my estimation was the trade of Nolan Arenado. No, it was not because they traded him. I get that part of it. But they practically paid the Cardinals to take him off their hands, and the talent they got back was so-so at best.

27. Detroit Tigers

The Tigers are slowly getting back to where they should be. And let’s give them credit as they are bringing uber prospect Casey Mize right along to Detroit to start the year and do not seem to care about continuing his service clock.

28. Texas Rangers

It could possibly be a few years before the Rangers are relevant again but at least the fans will have first access soon to the new digs they play in now.

29. Baltimore Orioles

The player who is probably looking forward to opening day more than anyone is Trey Mancini. He should without a doubt get the biggest roar of any player being introduced on opening day as well when he is called upon.

30. Pittsburgh Pirates

Stop me if you have heard this before. The Pirates are in the middle of a rebuild and will lose a lot of games this year. Perhaps having the number 1 pick come the June draft will be some sort of salvation for the fan base?
