The Atlanta Braves finally got some good injury news this season as it was reported that three of their banged-up players would be ready to go Wednesday.
It wouldn’t be the 2020 season without the Atlanta Braves dealing with several injury issues going into the postseason.
The Braves have suffered their fair share of injuries in 2020 and more, but it sounds like everyone is ready to go for the Wild Card series that starts on Wednesday morning.
Ronald Acuna Jr. has been dealing with a wrist issue for most of the 2020 season, but Brian Snitker confirmed that he’ll be good to go and nothing will prevent him from hitting leadoff on Wednesday.
Chris Martin, who didn’t get to pitch in the NLDS last year after injuring himself before entering the game, had a similar situation earlier this week that many thought might keep him from pitching for the Braves in the postseason again.
But all seems to be good now.
Snit says Chris Martin will be ready tomorrow: "He's going to be ready to go tomorrow. I think when he came in yesterday, he was surprised at how good he felt. I'm glad he said something, if he had stayed out there it might have been something really bad" #Braves

I’m really glad it was nothing major for Chris as I know he’s eager to get out there and help the Braves win after what happened last season. Most people believe that series would have gone a lot differently if he didn’t get hurt.
And lastly, Austin Riley has missed a lot of time over the last week of the regular season with a quad issue, and while Snitker said he probably won’t be 100 percent, he’ll be ready to go.
Snit on Austin Riley: "he's been hitting every day. I dont know that he will be 100 percent when we start the games tomorrow but he will be good to go" #Braves

Braves fan certainly hope so as his back-up, Adeiny Hechavarría, looked terrible at third in Riley’s absence and may have played himself off the playoff roster with the Braves calling up Pablo Sandoval.
Let’s hope Riley is healthy and able to get hot as he has at times in the past to help carry this offense against a formidable pitching staff.
This is certainly good news for the Braves to know they’re at full strength, or as full strength as they can be at this point, going into the 2020 postseason.
