If you peruse any Braves’ fansite on social media and take a look at the comments regarding Luke Jackson, you’ll see a lot of words stacked together in such a way that they are used as a tool of malevolence against the reliever.
In the comments of another article, I wrote about Jackson being underrated, fans expressed their concerns over Jackson’s inability to close games in pressure situations or how he made them nervous in high-leverage scenarios. One person even offered up that they submitted Jackson’s name for prayer requests at their church all last year.
The thing most people like to point to is his blown saves.
