Luke Jackson and the Atlanta Braves are back in the playoff hunt in the Players League that is currently happening right now.

It was a rough start for Luke Jackson and the Atlanta Braves in the Players League, but after a 3-1 night on Monday he finds himself back in the playoff picture with a couple of weeks left to go in the regular season.

For those who haven’t been keeping up, Jackson went 1-3 on his first night (they play four games a night when it’s their night to play) and then 2-2 on his second night.

And then he went 2-2 again on his third night putting his overall record at 5-7, which had him third in the NL East and in the bottom 10 of the overall standings.

Only the top eight overall records will advance to the playoffs.

However, on Monday night Jackson caught fire and had his first winning night of the season going 3-1 and bringing his record back to even.

He took down Carlos Santana and the Indians with an overwhelming 9-1 score and beat a good Dodgers team led by Gavin Lux 4-1. Then he won a close game against the Royals 4-3 with his lone loss on the night coming against the Angels and Ty Buttrey 4-0.

In the overall standings, he’s now tied at 13th with a bunch of other teams, but he’s just two games back of a playoff spot with 13 games left to play.

The website says Jackson is playing again on Tuesday, but that can’t be right because the teams they have him playing he’s already played.

But if you look at the games for the other players, it looks like he could be playing Niko Goodrum and the Tigers, Trevor May and the Twins, Jesus Luzardo and the Athletics, and Cole Tucker and the Pirates.

Only Trevor May of that group has a winning record at 7-5, so this could be another big night for Luke as he continues to get better and make a push for the playoffs.

Make sure you follow him on his Twitch channel and cheer him on during his games as he’s fun to watch and interact with. And lets’ go Braves!
