By now, almost everyone in Atlanta Braves country has either watched or heard about the crazy stories from the Netflix show “Tiger Kings.”

No doubt, the show is popular among all audiences whether for those before mentioned stories or simply the fact that many people are on lockdown at home and looking for things to watch and do.

Obviously, with the lack of baseball at the moment, or any matter related to baseball, we decided to assign a team to each of the main individuals from the show, including the Atlanta Braves.

We will dive into each and explain the reasoning behind every choice.

Before we go on though, we must tell you that potential spoilers lay ahead. Those are words I thought I would never have to type here on this site, but here we are.

Joe Exotic- Detroit Tigers

It just feels right to give the team named after the animal that the show is (intended) to be about to the main character. And as we are all aware, most likely, the word ‘character’ does not even begin to describe Joe Exotic.

However, there are more correlations that make this pairing a more complete duo. The Detroit Tigers were a really good team in the early years of this century but obviously have fallen on rough times of late and are currently at the bottom of the league in terms of talent.

That story sounds very similar to the one of Joe Exotic. Another trait they share in common is simply the fact that you turn out rooting for this team in the beginning only to feel let down by them. And in the end, you’re almost feeling sorry for them in some weird way.

Maybe for both parties, they will eventually find their footing and get back on solid ground and back to their original ways. At least for the Detroit Tigers that is.
