MLB The Show Player Ratings for Atlanta Braves

81 – Marcell Ozuna – Gold 

Some of you might be surprised to see that Marcell Ozuna rates very high in this game and is a top-six left fielder. Only J. D. Martinez, Giancarlo Stanton, Juan Soto, Joey Gallo, and Tommy Pham rate higher than him.

This seems a bit high considering his last two seasons in St. Louis have been somewhat disappointing based on what we saw from him in Miami. He feels more like a 78 player to me.

74 – Ender Inciarte – Bronze

A disappointing 2019 season didn’t help the rating for Ender Inciarte in 2020. At 74 he rates as one of the worst center fielders in the game with guys like Manuel Margot, former Brave Danny Santana, and Tyler Naquin rating higher than him.

I personally think Ender is much better than that based on his defense alone. He should be rated in the upper 70s at least, and I think with a good 2020 he could be a low 80s player.

89 – Ronald Acuna Jr. – Diamond 

They put Ronald Acuna Jr. in the center field category where he only rates behind Mike Trout (95). In right field, his competition is pretty fierce with Cody Bellinger (90) at the top. Christian Yelich and Mookie Betts also have 89 ratings.

But still, it shows you what we already knew, Acuna belongs in the conversation with the best in the game.
