The Atlanta Braves start spring training games this Saturday against the Baltimore Orioles.

Just like every other team that’s getting ready to start the spring schedule of games, the Atlanta Braves have questions that will need to be answered over the course of the next couple of weeks.

The good news is the Atlanta Braves have minor questions to answer unlike most teams at this time of the year.

Just last week, our own Jake Mastroianni posted an article looking at the meat and potatoes of what items the Atlanta Braves need to figure out before spring training ends.

Today, we are going to dive in a bit deeper and see what else needs to be resolved by the time opening day rolls around and the plane takes off for Arizona.

As we said earlier, the Atlanta Braves officially kick off their hunt for a third straight NL East division title Saturday when they take on the Baltimore Orioles, who figure to be one of the worst teams in the game, if not the worst in 2020.

Everyone is excited at the soon-to-be sight of professional baseball games, even if they do not matter a bit in the long run. The reality is, after about a week or so everyone will be anxiously awaiting the Opening Day ceremonies and we will all be ready for the “real” games to start.

The fun part of spring training that can be exciting is obviously getting a chance to see some prospects get a chance at facing full-fledged MLB level pitchers and seeing them get their first taste of the big leagues. I’m sure everyone is excited to watch Cristian Pache, Drew Waters, and Ian Anderson face players we all see on a regular basis.

So with that being said, let’s dive in and see what other issues the Braves must solve and figure out over the next few weeks.
