We take a look at how some of the Atlanta Braves players spent the Christmas holidays helping the community and by spending time with their families.
The Christmas holiday is a great time to give back to those in need as well as spend time with your friends and family. We look at some Atlanta Braves players who did just that and shared those moments with us on social media.
Mike Foltynewicz had a great second half of 2019 with the Braves. And while it didn’t finish they way we’d hoped, I for one believe Folty is in for a big 2020 season.
Folty is already off to a great start this offseason as he spent part of the holiday season helping children in need at the ‘Shop With a Cop’ event.

His rotation mate, Mike Soroka, spoke at a Kid Sport Calgary event helping raise funds for children.
Luke Jackson may have his detractors among Braves fans, but there is no questioning the fact that he’s a great follow on Twitter.
He brings up a very good point in regards to wrapping Christmas presents.
And then of course Freddie Freeman and his beautiful family sent out a Merry Christmas to everyone.
Also, I know he’s not with the Braves right now — hopefully he will be soon — but if you haven’t seen the video of Josh Donaldson giving his mom a car, go watch it here.
The Atlanta Braves staff as a whole did a great job of helping others this Christmas. Recently they helped provide lunch to families in the Atlanta Public Schools Head Start program, donating $30,000 to the program for pre-k students so they can have a daily snack.
I’m sure there are some out there that we missed, but it’s fun to see the team and players enjoying the Christmas holiday.
And it’s also great seeing fans send us pictures of their Braves Christmas gifts that they received. I would say this guy is ready for the 2020 season!
