With Braves rumors swirling that the Atlanta Braves could be close to making a deal for an outfielder, we at the top three available outfielders via trade.

One thing I want readers to keep in mind before continuing is that we are looking at outfielders that we know are available through trade for the Atlanta Braves, not just guys we would love to see in Braves rumors.

Obviously, we all have our hopes that the Anaheim Angels will trade Mike Trout to us for half of our prospects, but that’s not happening.

I also will not be including Mitch Haniger on this list, because all indications right now are that the Seattle Mariners have no intentions of moving him.

Haniger makes the most sense for the Braves, even though I think he would cost at least a couple of top 100 prospects. If for whatever reason the Mariners decide to move the outfielder who is controllable for four more years, then he would move to the top of this list.

I also will not be talking about previously mentioned trade candidates such as Nomar Mazara and Nick Castellanos, which we talked about here.

But instead, I want to focus on outfielders that have been rumored to be on the market this offseason that many people might not be considered for the Braves.

Alex Anthopoulos made it pretty clear during Chop Fest this past weekend that his top priority right now is finding an outfielder to replace Nick Markakis. That makes a lot of sense considering it’s the one spot on the roster where there is a clear hole.

I would be shocked if we enter the 2019 season with Adam Duvall as the starting right fielder/left fielder. There is a chance he bounces back and gets back to his career norms in 2019 as an everyday outfielder, but I’m not banking on that.

In fact, I would be surprised if Duvall makes it through Spring Training with the Braves.

So here are the top three trade targets that have been rumored to be available this offseason that the Braves could look to for right field.
