The Atlanta Braves made a pair of signings Monday that knocked down the teams’ needs, but Braves rumors could be focused on a few teams that meet multiple needs in one deal.

The Braves rumors haven’t calmed down since Brian McCann and Josh Donaldson inked contracts with the Atlanta Braves on Monday. The team has a few holes to fill yet on the roster, and on the trade market, there are a few teams that could end up meeting multiple needs in one deal. We’ll look at them here.

For the purposes of this exercise, while there are still other spots on the bench to fill, we will be focusing on teams that have a sure starter, solid reliever, and/or an outfielder to offer – at least two of the three, and some that even have all three!

Seattle Mariners

Of course, this is watered down significantly from just two days ago when two other relievers would have been available, and with Mariners GM Jerry Dipoto, it could still change quickly. Presently, the Mariners do fit with the Atlanta Braves for a pair of needs – an outfielder and a reliever, but by the end of the weekend, Dipoto very well may have traded the relievers of interest.

While the focus would definitely be on the young star outfielder Mitch Haniger, the Mariners do have Juan Nicasio that could be a target for the Braves in the bullpen along with Haniger. A deal to acquire Nicasio and Haniger would likely require multiple top 25 prospects in the Atlanta Braves system along with 1-2 in the 25-50 range in the system. It could certainly be worth it, though!

Now, let’s take a look at the other teams that could fit for this one-stop shopping for the Atlanta Braves, going division-by-division…
