Braves announce MiLB organizational Pitchers and Players of the Year

The Atlanta Braves are having a fantastic 2018, sitting atop the NL East with a record of 83-66.  The Braves hold a 6.5 game lead with 13 games remaining in the season.

To be in this position after those gah-awful years of struggling so bad and how no one predicted this out of the Braves, is just so thrilling.  If the season ended today, the Braves would be heading to the playoffs to play the Colorado Rockies.  But so much more can happen by the conclusion of the season.

In 2018, we’ve seen so many young players wear the Atlanta Braves uniform.  From Ronald Acuña Jr to Kyle Wright.  With all the young kids coming up to the bigs, you’d think the minor league system would take a hit.  Well, that would be true for many other teams; not really the Braves.

Our minors are still stacked and we still have plenty to look forward to.

This weekend, the Braves announced their 2018 pitchers and players of the year awards.  Let’s go through the names as well as their 2018 stats.
