Charlotte Knights 4, Gwinnett Stripers 3
Gwinnett did all of their damage in the first inning, and the Knights were able to come back, eventually taking the lead in the 6th inning and holding it. Max Fried had a solid start, going 5 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits and a walk, striking out 8.
Rio Ruiz collected 3 singles on the night. Dustin Peterson had a pair of doubles. Austin Riley had a home run and a single. Michael Reed had a pair of walks. Xavier Avery had a walk and a single. Phil Gosselin had a double.

Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp 5, Mississippi Braves 1
The M-Braves took the initial lead in the 4th inning before Jacksonville exploded in the bottom of the 6th off of Mississippi pitching. Kyle Muller had 5 scoreless innings with 2 hits, no walks, and 3 strikeouts. He went out for the sixth, and after four hitters, he’d added four hits and four runs to his tally without recording an out.
Daniel Lockhart had a pair of singles.

Charlotte Stone Crabs 6, Florida Fire Frogs 0, Game 1; Charlotte Stone Crabs , Florida Fire Frogs 0, Game 2
The Fire Frogs were shut out of the entire doubleheader on Friday night against Charlotte. The Fire Frogs managed just one hit in the first game, a double by Greyson Jenista.
Florida managed 3 hits in the second game. Drew Waters got a double.

Rome Braves 11, Asheville Tourists 7
The Rome Braves scored 6 runs between the 7th and 8th innings in order to secure the win after Asheville tied the game at 5 in the bottom of the 5th inning.
Alan Rangel was able to strike out 7 over 5 innings, but he also gave up 5 runs on 7 hits and 2 walks. Cutter Dyals tossed two scoreless innings to finish out the game with 4 strikeouts.
