Gwinnett Stripers 10, Norfolk Tides 2
The Stripers used a big 6-run 4th inning to sprint past the Tides on Wednesday. The pitching staff utilized a reliever approach to the game, though one of those was Bryse Wilson, who struggled in his one inning of work, allowing 2 runs on 3 hits, though he did strike out two and not allow a walk.
Michael Reed, Phil Gosselin, and Chris Stewart each had a pair of singles and a walk. Austin Riley, Carlos Franco, and Ryan Flaherty each had a pair of hits. Xavier Avery had a pair of walks.

After both teams went scoreless in the 10th, Greenville put up a run in the top of the 11th, and Rome responded with 2 in the bottom of the inning. Odalvi Javier had a very good start, going 6 innings, allowing 1 run on 3 hits and a walk, striking out 9. Hayden Deal tossed 4 innings of scoreless relief, allowing just 2 hits and a walk, striking out 3.
Hagen Owenby had a pair of singles and a walk. Jefrey Ramos had a pair of singles. Trey Harris and Shean Michel each had a double.

Danville Braves 6, Bristol Pirates 4, 10 innings
Bristol put up 3 runs early, but the Braves fought back to force extra innings, then put up 3 runs in the top of the 10th inning and were able to hold the Pirates to a single run in the bottom of the inning to score an exciting win in their final game of the season.
Mitch Stallings, Luis Mora, and Mason McReaken combined to stabilize the middle innings, with 7 scoreless relief innings, allowing 3 hits and 2 walks, striking out 8.
Ricardo Rodriguez had a pair of doubles. Justin Smith had a pair of singles and a walk. Nicholas Shumpert had a double, a single, and a stolen base. Rusber Estrada had a double and a walk. Carlos Baerga had a single and a walk. Henry Quintero had a double.
