1B Carlos Franco placed on DL by Gwinnett
Gwinnett Stripers 4, Buffalo Bisons 2
Gwinnett had a 3-run 3rd inning, and Luiz Gohara had a solid rehab start as the Stripers got the home win. Gohara tossed 3 2/3 innings, allowing a hit and a walk, striking out 3.
The Stripers offense was led by Austin Riley, who had a double and two singles. Luis Marte had a double and a single. Danny Santana had a home run. Xavier Avery and Sean Kazmar each had a double and a walk. Rio Ruiz had a double.

Chattanooga Lookouts 10, Mississippi Braves 1
The Lookouts put up 5 runs in the third inning, and the Braves offense simply could not push one across. Jonathan Morales had a pair of doubles. Travis Demeritte had a pair of singles and stole a base, and Cristian Pache had two singles as well.

Walter Borkovich had not started a game this season with Rome before being promoted on August 1st. He’s now started 3 games for Florida, and he’s not yet allowed a run or a walk. Thursday, he pitched 6 innings with 5 hits allowed, striking out 4.
Garrison Schwartz led the offense with a double and a single. Jordan Rodgers had a pair of singles and a stolen base. Marcus Mooney had two singles. Riley Delgado had a single and a pair of walks. Drew Waters had a double and a stolen base.

Lakewood BlueClaws 5, Rome Braves 4
Jasseel De La Cruz had a very good start, but the bullpen allowed 3 runs to allow Lakewood to tie the game and then Lakewood scored in the bottom of the 9th to walk off with the win. De La Cruz went 5 1/3 innings, allowing a run on 2 hits and 5 walks, striking out 5.
Trey Harris had a double and a walk. Jefrey Ramos had a single and a walk. AJ Graffanino and Drew Lugbauer each had a double. Justin Dean stole a base.

Greeneville Reds 7, Danville Braves 2, Game 1; Greeneville Reds 2, Danville Braves 1, Game 2
Danville dropped a doubleheader to Greeneville on Thursday night. In the first game, Matt Rowland was untouchable through 4 1/3, not allowing a hit, but he wore down, and finished with 4 runs allowed in 5 innings, allowing 4 hits and 2 walks, striking out 4.
Danville went with a bullpen game in game 2, and they did not give up a single earned run in the game. Trey Riley struck out 4 over 2 scoreless innings to start it off, allowing just one hit. Carlos Baerga had a pair of singles. Nicholas Vizcaino had a single and a walk. Brett Langhorne had a stolen base.

The Tigers jumped out with all of their scoring bunched in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th innings. Jeremy Fernandez had a double.
