Opening Day of the 2018 season is finally here!!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year!! Nope, it’s not the Christmas holiday, it’s Opening Day of Major League Baseball!! The Atlanta Braves open up the season against the Philadelphia Phillies at SunTrust Park starting at 4:10pm.
Braves will send Julio Teheran to the mound to face the Phillies this is his fifth consecutive season on the mound for Atlanta on Opening Day.

In 2017, went six innings, gave up four hits, no runs, three walks and had six strikeouts. Got the no decision.
In 2016, went six innings, gave up five hits, two runs, three walks and had four strikeouts. Got the no decision.
In 2015, went six innings, gave up eight hits, one run, one walk and had four strikeouts. Got the win this year!
In 2014, went six innings, gave up seven hits, two runs, one walk and had two strikeouts. Took the lose on this game.
One thing that’s consistent? He’s probably going to go six innings today.
Teheran has faced the Phillies 19 times in his career. Today will be luckily number 20! Let’s get that Double-U!

Phillies send out righty to face Braves
Braves will face Phillies right-handed pitcher Aaron Nola. The 24-year-old has faced the Braves seven times going 5-1 against us. He holds a 1.96 ERA vs the Braves with 37 strikeouts and 10 walks in 46 innings. He’s held the Braves hitters to a .241 batting average.
Hopefully, the Braves can get something going against the youngster today.
