This is our annual survey to get the pulse on how the fans feel about their team for the coming season.  We’d like your feedback!

The Atlanta Braves are playing ‘the kids’ this season.  Albies, Acuna (Tucker for now), Camargo (Ruiz for now), Newcomb, Gohara (eventually)… the children shall lead them.

So how well will these kids – and the key veterans around them – react in this, this ‘transition’ season for the Braves?  Well, that’s what we’d like to know from you.

Now this is going to be done a bit differently from years’ past:

  • Normally, I have done this by picking a number and then asking you ‘over’ or ‘under’ on whatever the performance question is.  This year, I’m going “multiple choice“.
  • We have run this as a contest in the past, too, but unfortunately, FanSided tends to discourage contests due to a variety of reasons, so we’ll forgo that this year.
  • As a direct result, though, I don’t have to ask you for email addresses or any other identifying information.  This is therefore a totally anonymous survey.
  • I can also do a better job in taking the information we get from you and posting results as we go through the season… updating you as we progress.
  • And let’s face it:  it’s a long season a in our instant information society, we want to see results faster!  So in April, we’ll have a summary of the findings – the ‘mood’ of the fans, as it were.

So please do give us your feedback:  15 multiple guess questions with pre-filled-in dropdown answers on a variety of topics.  With these, you can guess along with us about where the strengths and weaknesses of the team will lie in 2018.

The survey will be left open to accept answers until sometime around midday on Saturday, March 31st.

In the meantime, please also feel free to throw in your own projections for the team in the comments below.  While there’s a lot of topics covered in the survey, the details can be left to the imagination and your own thoughts might very well be different.

If you are looking forward to a particular playing breaking out or concerned that another might fade into oblivion… make that known.

One thing I specifically did not ask in the survey was ‘what place will the Braves finish in this year?’  That can always be misleading… heck, until the last week or two in 2017, the team could have finished 2nd behind the Nats.  As a result, I went for team wins.

Next: He took 'get married for life' way too literally

So that’s it!  15 quick questions… submit your results, and we’ll see what everybody thinks later.
