Braves right-handed pitcher gets pretty cool tattoo
Atlanta Braves starting pitcher, Mike Foltynewicz got a pretty sweet tattoo a few days ago. He showed it off at Braves Media Day. It’s a reference to his newborn son, Jett.
Folty and his wife just had their first baby boy on February 10, and they gave him the name Jett. The couple must have planned it perfectly as pitchers and catchers reported just days after. Pretty solid month for ol’ Folty!
The 26-year-old is set to make his Spring Training debut on Tuesday afternoon against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Game is set to start at 1:05pm ET at the Wide World of Sports complex.
Atlanta won their first game of the 2018 Spring on Monday after going 0-3 in their first three games. It’s nice getting on the winning track. Hopefully we can continue that with Folty on the mound. He’ll likely go two innings in his first appearance this season.
Back to Folty and Jett though…
Say hello to little Michael Jett Foltynewicz, born just 4 days ago. The son of @Folty25 is making #SpringTraining2018 a lot more special for the #Braves pitcher pic.twitter.com/8Q5zJCDZPQ

Look at him! Oh yeah, the baby is cute too! — I joke, I joke.
Having the baby has opened up many eyes and doors is seems like for the young pitcher. He gets to play dress up now whenever he wants too. And you better believe he’s going to be jacked in all video games. Makes me kinda question if Folty plays MLB the Show…just how good is he in that game?
One thing many people have learned within the last few days. Don’t try and be a social media warrior against him…matter of fact, just don’t be one to anyone. He called out and fired back on peoples words on twitter. Mostly saying you can comment on my pitching, but never my family. Go to his twitter page to read through them all. He doesn’t get on the twitter a lot so it should still be easy to find.
So to prove his love — or because he just wanted to — he got a tattoo for his youngster. It reads…”Gotta Jett”

I’m actually a huge fan of this. And opposing hitters will be seeing this every time Folty fires it in to home plate. Good luck hitters!
