On the Friday, the Atlanta Braves will wear Stoneman Douglas High School baseball caps to honor those affected by the most recent mass shooting…
The idea of wearing the hats of the Stoneman Douglas high school baseball team was started by the Miami Marlins two days ago. Today, MLB announced on Twitter that all 30 teams will wear Stoneman Douglas hats on Friday before games begin on Saturday. The Atlanta Braves and all other players will have the option to wear these hats during the Spring Training games as well.
Along with honoring those affected by this horrific event, the Braves will be holding an charity auction online where players will sign their caps and then have them auctioned off. All money from this auction will be sent directly to the victims fund of Stoneman Douglas.
