One is a former all-star and the other has been one of the Atlanta Braves voices since 1992.
On Thursday, the Atlanta Braves added a couple names to its Hall of Fame. The big name is 4-time all-star pitcher, Tim Hudson who played for the franchise from 2005 to 2013. The 42-year-old was also born in Columbus, Georgia.
Joe Simpson, who has been part of the Braves broadcast since 1992, is the other name to join Hudson.

With 17-years under his major-league career, Hudson pitched his way to a 222-133 W-L record with a 3.49 ERA. He pitched for the Oakland Athletics from 1999 to 2004 before being traded to the Atlanta Braves in 2005.
There he became one of the more consistent pitchers in the rotation and was a fan favorite – as he was with his other teams. In his 9 seasons with Atlanta, Hudson tallied a 3.56 ERA for 113 wins.
During his time with the Atlanta Braves, Hudson was named to Team USA for the 2006 World Baseball Classic and also was the 2010 NL Comeback Player of the year. In 2013, he recorded his 200th win in a game against the Nationals, becoming the 113th player to do so.
In November of 2013, Hudson signed a 2-year contract with the San Francisco Giants. There he pitched a 17-22 record and 3.91 ERA before declaring his 2015 season as his last.
Outside of the game, Hudson – along with his wife Kimberly Bruner – has also done great work with their Hudson Family Foundation which was created to:
"[make] a positive and long lasting impact in the lives of children who have a genuine need for assistance with regard to a specific physical, emotional or financial circumstance."

Joe Simpson is a long time Braves broadcaster and will start his 27th year with the franchise this upcoming season.
Simpson has sat in the booth alongside many Braves voices such as Skip Caray, Don Sutton, Pete Van Wieren and now is partners with Chip Caray for Fox Sports South.
An accomplishment for Simpson in the booth is being named as the 1995 Georgia Sports Broadcaster of the Year.
As he heads into the @Braves Hall Of Fame, a reminder that Joe Simpson has kept every scorebook since his first Atlanta broadcast in 1992.#ChopOn pic.twitter.com/5q1g74jNXk
