Braves moments that we should remember
As we look to turn the page on 2017, it seems appropriate to look back at some of the Atlanta Braves most memorable moments of 2017.
Was it the year we all wanted?  Absolutely not.  Pretty much unless you’re in the Houston Astros fan base, you didn’t have the year you wanted.
2017 was a historic year for the Atlanta Braves organization.  I was going to do a huge post on the top moments, but the Atlanta Braves did so for us on Twitter…let’s go through theirs first and then I’ll give my top 10.

10. Traded Mallex Smith for Luiz Gohara…he debuts on Sept 6 and is brilliant
9. Somehow RHP Kyle Wright drops to five in the MLB draft!
8. The horrific Sean Rodriguez car crash. Which led to the signing of Brandon Phillips
7. Ender Inciarte has a terrific season…Gold Glove, All-Star and signed a 5-year $30.53M contract
6. Ozzie Albies debut on August 1st! Dude has fun playing the game and we have fun watching!
5. Ronald Acuna’s dominance of minor leagues. Started in Single-A, finished as POTY in Triple-A
4. The crazy injuries – Freddie Freeman’s wrist and Johan Camargo’s jump
3. SunTrust Park opens – the wait was over! What a beautiful venue this is
2. Beat The Freeze – the overnight sensation after that first kid fell was like nothing else
1. MLB investigation. Years from now, it’s what we’ll all remember about 2017
