Braves great, Jones, sends his own Xmas gift to lifetime fan
By now, you’ve most likely saw the video of the lifetime Atlanta Braves fan getting emotional when he receives a signed baseball for Christmas. That ball was signed by Braves great Chipper Jones.
The original video was posted by the man’s daughter — @missrandipants — the day after Christmas. The minute long scene is a tear-jerker, especially if you’ve ever been in a similar situation.
If you haven’t watched it yet, here’s the clip of the father getting emotional when opening his present from his daughter.
I got my Dad an autographed baseball by @RealCJ10 for Christmas - C. Jones is my dad’s favorite player of all time. Love You Dad ⚾️🎄❤️ pic.twitter.com/fUu0ZQbuqf

If this wasn’t enough and you’re not pretending to get a little misty, Chipper responded to this.
When Jones saw this on social media, he responded by saying…
"So incredibly cool!!! There are no words to describe how watching this made me feel. I got misty for sure. Merry Christmas y’all! I love Braves Country"
I think we can all agree with Chip, this is extremely cool and makes you feel good inside. Deep down, we all hope to give a gift that makes someone feel so good inside.
Being the awesome person that Chipper is, he didn’t just respond on Twitter…he took it to another level.
Jones and his agency Jet Sports Management must have reached out to the family because they got their address. They sent the father another signed baseball and a signed jersey!
How cool is this guy now?!!
We would like to give a big thank you to @JetSportsMgmt for sending my dad an Autographed @RealCJ10 Jersey as well as a second autographed ball! (the one on the right) 😊 Thank you so very much! Hope everyone has a Happy New Year!! pic.twitter.com/0qyYtX8shs

Next: Inciarte, Albies and Pache already taking cuts
So cool. And of course Jones retweeted this new photo. He’s still the best, wish we were still watching Chip play ball day in and day out.
I’m not crying, you are. What a class act by ol’ Chipper!
