Atlanta Braves Knockahoma Nation – Braves Way Edition
What happened last week in the Braves front office was sad. And, for the organization, it was embarrassing. And it sucks for us Braves fans. But, it’s also not the end of the world.
With all of the sensational takes this week during this trying time, we thought we would attempt to step back and look at the whole picture.
What is the “Braves Way?” Many fans on Twitter believe that the Braves Way was Ted Turner’s giant checkbook. Have these fans forgetten that guys like Tom Glavine, John Smoltz, Steve Avery, Chipper Jones, Mark Lemke, Eddie Perez, Vinny Castilla, Jeff Blauser, Ron Gant, David Justice, Anduw Jones, and Rafael Furcal were products of the Braves farm system?

Ken and I also talk about the Braves bringing back Brian Snitker. Listen, throughout the year, we wrote the book on making fun of Brian Snitker. There are videos to prove this. And, Ron Washington was my choice to be the next Braves manager. And, in my perfect world Jay Jaffe would manage the Braves.
But, Brian Snitker is far from the worst manager in baseball.
Furthermore, the 2017 Atlanta Braves didn’t suck because of Brian Snitker. They sucked because guys like Emilio Bonifacio, Josh Johnson, Matt Kemp, Matt Wisler, Josh Collmenter (and yes, even Dansby Swanson), Chaz Roe, Julio Teheran, Bartolo Colon, and several others sucked at playing baseball.
We also share some of our favorite takeaways and memories of the season.
