Braves season is over, folks. The good news (if there is any good news) is that postseason baseball is upon us. And, not matter who you root for, there’s nothing like postseason baseball. Me? I’m rooting for Tito to go all the way.

Episode 27 wraps up the very first season of the Knockahoma Nation podcast on Atlanta Braves baseball and life in general. I feel like we started off strong, and around the All-Star break our content sort of dropped, only to pick back up the past few weeks.

This week on the podcast myself and Ken revisit some of our pre-season predictions. I might have said some things about Josh Collmenter. I might have predicted Matt Kemp to be one of the best sluggers in the game. And, perhaps I said some things about Bartolo Colon.

We also talk about the ever contentious subject that is Brian Snitker. I think I can speak for Ken when I say that we think the Braves can do better. But we also don’t think Snitker is terrible. We explain in the podcast.

Our guest this week is Ken’s wife, Cynthia Hendix. Cynthia’s got close family ties to baseball, and her uncle is actually the head of the athletic department up at Tusculum College (where Braves pitching prospect Devan Watts went). Cynthia talks about growing up around the game and what baseball has meant to her.

BIG thanks to Jeff and Alan here at Tomahawk Take for supporting our podcast and giving it a home. We view ourselves as an extension of what they do.  [Ed. note: it has been our pleasure to do so!]

Want to listen to the podcast on iTunes? Go here to listen to Knockahoma Nation on iTunes and for a list of all past episodes, and make sure to follow Knockahoma Nation on Twitter @KnockahomaNTN.

Not on iTunes? No problem.  We’re also on Stitcher, Google Play and TuneIn Radio.

Next: We're already looking forward to the 2018 MLB Draft

Make sure you support all the other great Atlanta Braves podcasts out there, too. Talking ChopRoad to Atlanta, and Grant McAuley’s Around the Big Leagues all offer great Braves info. And, like we say on the show, we get so much of our info from those guys.
