Knockahoma Nation is joined by the AJC to talk Atlanta Braves baseball
Atlanta Braves fans are the best fans in all of sports. It’s mid-September and some of you knuckleheads are tweeting about the home team like they’re the 1927 Yankees. There is no other fan-base in sports this invested in their team than Atlanta Braves fans. It’s a beautiful thing.
This week on the Knockahoma Nation podcast, we are joined new Atlanta Braves beat writer, Gabe Burns from the AJC.
Gabe’s young, right out of college, and he’s doing great things on the Braves beat. He’ll be a household name in Braves Country within two years. Just to underscore that, on Twitter, he’s @GabeBurns_ … with the underscore character.
Talking about Ronald Acuña this week – the newly minted organization position player of the year – was inevitable. And yes, we made all the Andruw Jones comparisons. If Eddie Perez, Chipper Jones, Damon Berryhill and Randy Ingle are all making the same comparison, then there just might be something to it.
We also talk about potential off-season moves with Gabe, and later in the show myself and Ken end up talking about college football. Hey, what else were you planning for the next hour plus?

Not on iTunes? No problem. We’re also on Stitcher, Google Play and TuneIn Radio.
Make sure you support all the other great Atlanta Braves podcasts out there, too. Talking Chop, Road to Atlanta, and Grant McAuley’s Around the Big Leagues all offer great Braves info. And, like we say on the show, we get so much of our info from those guys.
