Atlanta Braves: Knockahoma Nation Episode 20

ATLANTA, GA - AUGUST 08: Matt Adams
ATLANTA, GA - AUGUST 08: Matt Adams

Other than the Atlanta Braves’ win over the Cardinals on Sunday, it hasn’t been the most eventful week in Atlanta Braves history… Unless having an immobile oak tree in left field is your thing.

This week on the podcast, me and Ken argued for the most part. So if listening to a couple of 20-grade braves “savants” is your thing, then this is the episode for you. If you actually want to use your time wisely, well… let’s just say that you’ve been warned.

This week we take a look at what we think the 2018 lineup could look like and Ken brings up the Braves’ future possibilities at third base. He throws out the idea that the Bravos should go after Nick Castellanos. Normally, I’d let such a small disagreement go on by, but I couldn’t let this one leave without some trolling of my wonderful co-host.

To me, the Braves have the answer to all of their third base problems in Johan Camargo. But again, I’m no scout and and am wrong about projections way more often than I am correct.

We also had a serious discussion on what the Braves 2018 outfield situation could look like. And yes, I left my fanboy obsession about

Nick Markakis

at the door (eventually). Let’s just say I’ve been beyond excited about

Ronald Acuna

since I saw him in Rome last year.

Make sure you support all the other great Atlanta Braves podcasts out there, too. Talking ChopRoad to Atlanta, and Grant McAuley’s Around the Big Leagues all offer great Braves info. And, like we say on the show, we get so much of our info from those guys.
