Atlanta Braves Minor League All Questions Asked, April Edition
Atlanta Braves Minor League All Questions Answered, April 2017 Edition
The Atlanta Braves are playing, the minor league affiliates are playing. All is well for an Atlanta Braves fan!
As the calendar begins to turn to May, we look harder at the upcoming draft. This past Monday, we had a piece on how the Braves could negotiate this year’s draft class. TT’s Benjamin Chase also writes for FanSided’s general baseball site, Call To The Pen, and he offered up a few looks at the draft:
A General Overall Look At the 2017 Draft
A Deeper Dive Into The Top College Players
A Deeper Dive Into The Top High School Players
This coming Monday, Ben will re-start his Mock Draft Mondays that will be an every-other-week occurrence on the site this year getting ready for the draft. As always, we have twice weekly minor league updates on the site that keep you informed on the org leaders (Thursday) and select a hitter/pitcher of the week each week along with showing leaders at each level (Monday).
Look for scouting reports to start hitting in May for those players who are now getting enough video to review in full-season ball!
With all that said, let’s get on with the AQA!
The “Rules”
Rules?! We don’t need no stinking rules!
Well, okay, a couple of suggested guidelines. This will primarily be answered by Benjamin Chase, the minor league coordinator around these parts, however any member of the Tomahawk Take team or any one of you can feel free to add your answer/comment to a question asked. Any question posted to this thread before Sunday at midnight eastern will be answered, so feel free to ask away, even if you don’t catch this on the exact day that it posted to the site! If the number gets to be too heavy, in the future I may set an earlier cut off time, but for right now, we’ll stick to keeping this open to new questions throughout the weekend.

That link above is to the database of all Braves minor leaguers that I put together in early May of 2016. I keep that updated and did a big update in January of all players on there. I’ll be doing another big update once assignments have been decided!
