Former Atlanta Braves pitcher, Greg Maddux, is arguably the best pitcher of the modern era. He recently was in Las Vegas, prior to Spring Training, and, well, I’ll just let you see what happens.

Atlanta Braves and MLB Hall of Famer, Greg Maddux, had some fun with Kris Bryant before Spring Training began.

Kris Bryant, the National League’s Rookie of the Year in 2015 and NL MVP last year, got some unexpected batting practice thrown to him.

In the video, uploaded on February 16th, is supposed to be a little recording of a Bryant BP session.

This was for, I assume, for one of Bryant’s endorsements, Red Bull.

Maddux gets a make over as a ho-hum sound guy. The man throwing BP gets a “phone call” to go run a “study hall”. What happens next is pure solid gold trickery.

Watch, and enjoy!

I love every second of this. Even when Maddux is throwing, he knows that every pitch is either a ball or strike. He even tells Bryant when he’s only hit to the warning track, without even looking.

The best part, when he tells Bryant, “middle away; hit over the right field fence”. He told him where it was going, and in true Mad Dog fashion, he put it right where he said he would.

The old man, still has a little bit left. He’s the best folks, he’s simply the best.
