Way back in April, TomahawkTake revisited our annual contest to see what our readers thought about how the 2016 season would go.  There were some great respondents, but in truth, nobody had any clue.

The Atlanta Braves‘ 2016 season was whacky – by any definition of the word.  Had I known then what I know now, the questions for this contest would have been much different… but you’ll be surprised at some of the results regardless.

The questions were broken into 3 categories:  5 for the team at large, 5 involving hitters, and 5 involving pitchers.  Then there were 3 tie-breakers as well.

My goal in forming the questions was similar to that of a Vegas oddsmaker setting the line for a game:  try to guess the point at which 50% of the bettors will go in each direction.

We’ll let you know how that went in the next report, but I think you’ll see that there was remarkable (and dumb-lucky) success in getting really close to the right results overall!

Let’s see how it came down…
