The off-season is now officially underway. And with it, we have prognosticators already geared up for the next season… BEFORE any free agents are even offered a contract.
That’s why I personally believe this is ridiculous, but it’s also something to give you an early idea about what others think about the Atlanta Braves.
The answer? It’s not good.
One sports book from Las Vegas – Bovada – is placing the odds of Atlanta winning the 2016 World Series at 100:1.
Here’s the full list… at the moment…

Nutty Things of Note
The Cubs actually opened at 11:1 odds… and have already moved off of that to 10:1. That means one thing: there are Cubs’ fans out there who have already placed bets on the outcome of the 2016 series!
Other odds of note:
- Mets: 12:1
- Nationals: 12:1
- Marlins: 50:1
- Phillies: the worst at 200:1
- Dodgers, Royals, Mets, Cardinals, Blue Jays are all in the top tier at 12:1
- Pirates and Rangers are close behind (14:1)
- Perhaps surprisingly, the Angels are well back on this list at 20:1… and so are the Giants and Red Sox.
