2016 Atlanta Braves, what do we know?

The Braves have approximately 70 million to 11 committed contracts (wrote about this about a month ago). Those players are:

1. Nick Swisher

2. Michael Bourn

3. Nick Markakis

4. Freddie Freeman

5. Julio Teheran

6. Andrelton Simmons

7. Cameron Maybin–

8. Hector Olivera

9. Jason Grilli

10. Dian Toscano

*11. Peter Moylan– Moylan was on a 2-year contract, however it was a 2-year Minor League Contract. Word is that could have been voided with his MLB promotion. Not sure on this yet.

Then the arb-eligible guys…

Chris Withrow

Mike Minor

Pedro Ciriaco

Shelby Miller

Michael Kohn

I’ll say this again, out of those 5, I don’t foresee Ciriaco or Kohn getting offered a contract, and obviously Minor is “iffy” pending his health this offseason.
