Best Honeymoon Ever: Preface
Last August 16th, my wife and I exchanged vows, but due to being a teacher, she had to get right to work, so an immediate honeymoon wasn’t in the cards. We planned to wait until after the school year to have our honeymoon, and began to plan a road trip to visit sites in northeast.
Around Christmas time, my mother came to us with a trip being put together by a local radio station, WNAX, that included 10 baseball games over the course of two weeks. To my very pleasant surprise, my wife was the one who was very excited about the trip.
For those who haven’t had a chance to check out the parks in question, you can use this as a view of the park, but more than anything, I wanted to show you the fun and excitement that a baseball-themed trip can be not just for a baseball nut, but even for a casual fan like my wife.
I’ll break this down in small chunks over the next week, starting with games 1-2 today and reviewing two games and the other attractions we enjoyed throughout the week.
