Our Atlanta Braves are STRONG up the middle.
In fact, I’d go out on a limb and say that our 2nd baseman/shortstop/CF combo is the best defensive combination in the game, or at least top-3.  While Cameron Maybin‘s advanced defensive metrics place him as a below average defensive CFer, he’s really passing the eye test from all of the Braves’ fans that I have talked to that watch the games on a nightly basis.
The Braves have been adamant about having a strong defense up the middle and they got their wish in 3 of the 4 spots, but right now there’s one that many people don’t think of when talking about defense up the middle, and the Braves are really struggling in that category.
