The record does not show that are of the Braves’ players above were lost during World War II.  Some clearly had more of a time than others – but that isn’t the point today:  they served.  Today is a day to remember those lost to battle in all of our wars, but it is also a good day to celebrate the living – and certainly those who have given up so much in support of the United States of America.
