The consensus is that there is no consensus

The entrance  of Hart and his merry men have the projection industry in what can only be called mass confusion. That’s probably not on purpose but also something that Hart no doubt enjoys because it does give him an edge.  I doubt that GMs try to strategically out think each other in this area but it’s sure fun to watch the experts going around in circles. In his post linked earlier , Manuel concludes with over a paragraph explaining why no one can predict what the Braves will do.

". . .the team sparking the most chatter in the industry is the Braves, who have acquired competitive balance picks and have six of the first 89 selections, with more than $10 million in their bonus pool . . .Hart promoted Brian Bridges . . .to scouting director, brought back former director Roy Clark. . .. and has helped Clark re-assemble many of the scouts who helped build the Braves into a scouting juggernaut. . ."

That indecision is reflected in the fact that of the 12 mock drafts I researched there were 12 different names listed for our first round pick and nine new names listed for pick 28.

Internally the Take crew added three to the each list.  I guess you could say we’re as split as the rest of the world.

So what’s the choice?
