We’re a good couple of weeks into the season now, and Braves fans have seen both sides of the coin of this year’s club and its potential. At the time I am first drafting this article, I am currently viewing what would eventually be 5-4 game and series loss to the Philadelphia Phillies. Yeah, just about what I expected.
Anyone who follows me on Twitter knows that I am saber friendly and I am not really a believer in the “small ball” overhaul that the team has tried to market to fans to convince them that they are actively looking to compete for the division. Not that “small ball” can’t work; it’s just not likely to with the team they have constructed.
