Man, it feels like years since we’ve wrote that but wow does it feel good.  The Atlanta Braves win a game!  The Braves took the lead in the bottom of the 8th inning when Chris Johnson went the opposite way to score Justin Upton.
Not throwing a jab or anything to our next opponent, but how difficult would it be to be a Chicago Cubs fan?
Upton had a huge game as he scored both runs for the Braves on Tuesday. Â The first was his solo home run in the bottom of the 4th inning off Tyler Lyons and the second run came in the Braves final offensive inning.
Chris Johnson gets back to his old ways as he goes the other way with a clutch RBI single. #Braves lead 2-1 in the eighth.

Just knowing we'll see Kimbrel with a lead in the 9th feels pretty good right about now.

After the Braves scored in the 8th inning, Mr. Craig Kimbrel strolled to the mound to close it out for the Braves in the 9th inning. Â With a strike out of Matt Adams, Jhonny Peralta pop out to first and Allen Craig strike out, the game has ended.
Braves win 2-1!!! Â They are now 1-0 in the past one game since Gavin Floyd pitched.
