As the days in the months pass, we continue to celebrate the lives of the guys who entertain us day in and day out. Today, we send a huge happy birthday wish to Larry Wayne Jones!
Chipper will celebrate his 42nd birthday on Thursday. It’s crazy to think this “kid” is 42-years-old as it seems like just the other day he was the Braves future, wearing the high socks and dazzling us in the early 90’s.
April 24th isn’t just a special day for Chipper, it’s also ironically the birthday of his girlfriend Taylor Higgins.

Chipper retired a Brave at the end of the 2012 season. On his birthday in his last season playing, he went 1-3 with a solo homer to help the Braves beat the L.A. Dodgers 4-3. Jones hit that home run off of a current Braves pitcher who is having the time of his life, Aaron Harang.
