A Stroll Down Memory Lane

It’s effectively the off-season, and though free agency continues, the Braves look as though they’ve made their major move and will now have a quiet off-season from here on out. So with that in mind I thought maybe we could break up the monotony with a stroll down memory lane.

Earlier today Bleacher Report compiled a list of the top 50 greatest pitching teams of all time. It’s hardly authoritative, not scientific at all, but who doesn’t love a good list? The top 50 teams span all eras and generations of the game and the list makes for a pretty good read in its entirety. But it also features a very beloved team in the number one spot, the 1995 World Series Champion Atlanta Braves. That team featured three Cy Young winners in Tom Glavine, John Smoltz and Greg Maddux. I won’t spoil it for you, check it out by clicking the link below. And if you have a half-hour, check out the whole list, it’s worth the time.
