Another Loss Puts Braves in Tie for Wild Card With One Game Left

At this point, I honestly don’t care if the Braves make the playoffs. They are in no shape to win even one game in the NLDS. If they make it, good for them, I will root them on. If they don’t, I will shrug my shoulders and say it was bound to happen.

The mistakes, bad offense and incredibly stupid decisions by Bobby Cox are not worth mentioning anymore. I’m too angry and if I get started on it, I might not end after a few paragraphs.

If the Braves and Padres win tomorrow, the loser of a one-game playoff between the Giants and Padres will play the Braves in a one-game playoff. If the Braves and Giants win, the Braves are in. If the Braves lose and the Giants win, the Braves and Padres will meet in a one-game playoff. If the Braves lose and the Padres win, the Braves are out.

Tim Hudson faces a few innings of Cole Hamels and Roy Oswalt. Game time is 1:35 on Fox Sports South. The Padres and Giants begin at 4:05. Mat Latos faces Jonathan Sanchez.
