Two Atlanta Braves Prospects pitched on opposite sides in the 2010 All Star Futures Game. Myrtle Beach Pelican Julio Teheran pitched for the World Team and Gwinnett pitcher Mike Minor pitched for the US team.
Teheran’s squad lost 9-1 but Teheran pitched a scoreless inning. Teheran struck out one and walked two. Teheran is regarded as one of the Braves top prospects. He began the year at Single A Rome and moved to High A Myrtle Beach after seven starts.

Mike Minor pitched a perfect inning of relief for the US squad. Minor started the year at Mississippi but has recently moved up to Triple A Gwinnett. Minor remains the subject of some trade rumors but appears to be very close to being ready for the Majors.
