Series Preview

The Braves come in to this series dead last in the National League East, 5-5 over their last 10 games. The Brewers are in third place in the Central Division and have won three games in a row. The Braves have arguably their two best pitchers in Tommy Hanson and Tim Hudson going in the first two games of the series. Chipper Jones is looking at a Monday return from the sore groin that kept him out of Sunday’s series finale in Philadelphia. Jason Heyward could be back as soon as Tuesday. The Braves really are missing his bat in the lineup. The pitching match ups clearly favor the Braves in the first two games but it remains to be seen if in fact it plays out that way.
