The panic seems to have waded off and rightfully so.

Without a doubt, this was not the start the entire Atlanta Braves were looking for but look at the standings now…the Atlanta Braves are (tied for) back in first place. With Wednesday’s win, they are also back to the .500 mark.

The sky was falling and heads were soon to be looking to roll, but the marathon was just getting started. The Atlanta Braves are just now at the 15% mark of the season. We still got a loooong way to go.

With that being said, it’s always nice to look up at the standings and see your team at the top no matter what day of the year or season it is. Despite all the setbacks to the starting pitching, the bullpen being inconsistent, and the lineup all starting freezing cold, the Atlanta Braves have weathered the storm and once again sit in first place.

Hopefully, everyone will relax and realize that every team has ups and downs over the course of the grueling baseball schedule.

So that wrap’s up Wednesday night’s recap as once again the Atlanta Braves defeated the Chicago Cubs by a final score of 10-0.

The same two teams play again Thursday as the Atlanta Braves look to complete the four game sweep and the Chicago Cubs probably just hope to finally score a run.
