Atlanta Braves as franchise-starters

So here we are, The Atlanta Braves would have lost a player by now. In my eyes, the logical choice would probably be Ender Inciarte or Adam Duvall.

Perhaps a team would take a flyer on Luke Jackson or take the 1 year left with Travis d’Arnaud?

Either way, it would likely be one of those four players heading off to a new team in a new city. The three remaining players would be my next three to add after the first round was over.

Then I think you would have to look at some names like AJ Minter, Chad Sobotka, and Jeremy Walker that we might lose.

When it’s all said and done, I think the Atlanta Braves would looking at something in the neighborhood of a Ender Inciarte and AJ Minter loss.

No matter what, you never want to lose a player for nothing, but under the circumstances, I think the Atlanta Braves would come out better than most teams around the league if it were to turn out something close as to what’s listed above.

Truthfully though, we are probably a few seasons at best away from anything like expansion happening, but I do believe it is coming. Perhaps some front offices around the league will maybe start structuring contracts anticipating a possible expansion draft within the next few years.

Next. What's the holdup. dark

So let us know in the comment section below if you would do anything different regarding an expansion draft focusing on the current Atlanta Braves roster. Who would you like to see protected and who would you be ok with possibly losing?
